Honoring the Past, Embracing the Future

From the President of our Board of Directors

On behalf of the Board of Directors, thank you for your continued dedication to Natalie's Sisters and to the women we are called to serve. Your compassion, faithfulness, and commitment are the heart of this ministry, and we are deeply grateful for the work you do each day.

As you know, every strong organization begins with a vision. Natalie's Sisters exists today because of the calling the Lord placed on Jani Lewis and her daughter, Bethany, to serve the least of these. Through their faith and obedience, what began with home-cooked meals delivered to the first club has grown into a ministry that now serves more women than could have ever been imagined in those early days.

Today, we would like to share several leadership updates that mark an important moment in the continued growth of Natalie's Sisters.

First, we are pleased to announce new officers for the Board of Directors. I will serve as Board President, Diane Perez will serve as Board Vice President, and Sheila Myers will serve as Board Secretary. We are honored to serve in these roles and look forward to supporting the mission and the important work being carried out across the organization.

We also want to recognize a significant leadership transition. From the very beginning, Jani brought Bruised Reed and later Natalie's Sisters to life-shaping its mission, building its foundation, and inspiring the work that continues to change lives today. Through her vision, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to those we serve, Jani has built an organization that has touched countless women.

As part of this transition, Jani will be stepping away from the day-to-day responsibilities of Executive Director and will continue to serve the organization in the role of a Founder. In this capacity, she will remain connected to the ministry she established, helping to preserve its history, support its future, and continue championing the mission that began with her calling.

We are also pleased to announce that Deb Nickell will serve as the organization's new Executive Director. Deb brings a deep faith in Jesus Christ, strong leadership skills, and a shared commitment to the women we serve. We are confident that under her leadership, Natalie's Sisters will continue to grow and expand its impact.

Transitions such as this remind us that strong organizations are sustained not only by vision, but by the people who faithfully carry that vision forward. Natalie's Sisters stands not only on a powerful calling, but on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ. Because of that foundation-along with your dedication, the guidance of our board, and the groundwork laid by Jani-we are confident that the future of this ministry is bright.

Thank you for your continued commitment to the mission of Natalie's Sisters.

With gratitude,

JENNY TRUE REED
